Translational Studies
The translation research team at TRIAD has been focused on developing and harnessing tools that could one day improve the management of patients with atrial fibrillation. Specifically, we seek to gain insights into the disease and treatment process through experimental research into cutting-edge techniques involving magnetic resonance, ultrasound, and optical-based imaging. We believe by coupling these imaging techniques with state-of-the-art image processing, image fusion, and computational shape analysis, we will generate discoveries in our research laboratory that could one day transform clinical practice.
